Endless Polyester Round Slings

Though not as well-known or widely-used as regular flat web slings, endless polyester round slings can be a great alternative. They maintain a very high strength-to-weight ratio, just like flat slings. Unlike standard flat slings, they have a protective outer jacket. All of the load-bearing strands are on the inside of the jacket, so as the slings is used, damage to the most important fibers is prevented. Additionally, the sling capacity is indicated by color (see chart below). That means that you can quickly build familiarity with what color of sling is right for your crew, or specific job. Lastly, keep in mind that although these are endless slings, you still can perform all the same hitches, including a vertical, choker and / or basket hitch.
