What is the micron thickness of the galvanized dip for your 3/8 inch G43 hot dipped galvanized chain?  I plan to use this product to moor a buoy.  Also, what is the largest shackle thickness this chain can accept mid length?
1 Answer
According to the mfg., the Hot Dipped Galvanized finish is between 43 and 53 Microns.  The largest shackle you can use would be 1/2".
