Product Description

Crosby ELIMINATOR: Advantages Over Traditional Adjustable Chain Slings
Let's start with fewer components. As the name implies, the primary advantage of the Crosby ELIMINATOR system over traditional adjustable length chain slings is that it has eliminated many of the required fittings. Using the ELIMINATOR can eliminate up to 67% of the fittings for a multiple leg rigging reducing the complexity of the sling. Additionally, ELIMINATOR slings are easier to inspect. With far fewer components, slings fabricated utilizing the Crosby ELIMINATOR system can be more easily inspected for potential “removal from service” conditions specified in EN 1677, ASME B30.9 and ASME B30.10. Less crowding of the master link makes it easier to examine all surfaces of all components for signs of wear. Other great features include a hinged design that helps prevent bending when the ELIMINATOR is up against a curved object, as well as an integrated RFID chip for easy electronic inspection and record keeping. And one of our favorite features--ALL Crosby ELIMINATOR fittings are made in the USA!

  • Combines selected features and functionality of a master link, connecting link, grab hook and adjuster legs to provide you with one fitting that is suitable for applications that require an adjustable length chain sling

  • Innovative two piece design allows for maximum flexibility
  • Individually proof-tested to 2-1/2 times the Working Load Limit with certification
