Questions & Answers

1 Question & 1 Answer
Michael
from Jaffrey, NH asked:

What size and grade bolts are required to maintain 4000 lbs WLL?
1 Answer
The manufacturer suggests 3/8" Grade 8 carriage bolts.  Now finding carriage bolts in Grade 8 might prove difficult, so using a regular hex bolt in Grade 8 will work.  It is also recommended to use a hardened washer.
