According to OSHA 1926.502(e), "Positioning devices shall be rigged such that an employee cannot free fall more than 2 feet." This means that fall positioning / restraint belts are not legal for fall arrest. It is also advisable that the employee be secured in such a way as to prevent walking or falling off an elevated work surface. Please view this FallTech Sizing Chart for assistance in determining your proper size. If you need gear for fall arrest, then please view our wide selection of Full Body Harnesses and Lanyards (choose one with a shock absorber).
