From small worm gear units, to heavy-duty double reduction models that lift up to 10,000 lbs with an automatic load brake. The 4WM2 Winch Model can even be powered by a 400 RPM Maximum Drill-motor. Finishes include zinc-plated, painted red, zinc-plated and red painted combination and even stainless steel. Wire rope assemblies are sold separately, including Galvanized Winch Cables and Stainless Steel Winch Cables.
Pulling vs. Lifting
Be sure you know which kind of winch you need. If you're pulling--NOT lifting overhead--then you can use a model without a brake. If you are lifting overhead, or if load control is important, then be sure to choose a model with a brake (look for the "B" or "PB" suffix in the model number).
NONE OF THESE MODELS ARE RATED FOR HOISTING PERSONNEL.
