Pewag 9/32" (7mm) Security Chain Kit - 3 ft Chain & Viro Padlock
Product Description
View table below for details on kit contents.
Chain - 9/32" (7mm) | 3ft | This is the light-duty, highly-portable and bike-friendly version of Pewag's vaunted square security chain. While it is smaller, it has the same hardness (62 HRC min.), same square design and the same electro-galvanized finish. We have many, many happy customers using this chain. For heavy-duty appilcations where maximum security is the concern, we recommend 10mm chain and larger. But if your first priority is lightweight portability and visual deterrence, this chain is a good choice.
Padlock | 1x | Pewag partnered with Viro to find the perfect match for their 7mm security chain, and this is the result. The Viro 4228 screams quality! It has a fully armored brass body with tempered, copper, nickel, case-hardened and chrome plated steel armor. It also features independent and rotating lock-bolts, made of steel with pull-resistant programmed head breakage. Ball type locking mechanism, key retaining and with 5 pin pull-resistant plug.
Chafe Sleeve (optional) | 3ft | For this size of chain we have two options. One is our generic black sleeve, that really is quite similar to the Pewag sleeve, but without the Pewag branding. But for those that want the branding (theft deterrent), and prefer OEM options, rest assured the Pewag sleeve was hand-picked by Pewag to work with your 7mm chain! Both options will help protect the finish on your chain, and help to protect your sensitive items from being scratched or damaged when chaining up. |
