What is the inside and outside diameter dimensions?

OD is 1-5/8, and ID is 1-9/32 between the small raised ribs.

How do you assemble this tool?

Typically these are just bolted through a standard fiberglass pruning pole. Most of our customers will insert a wooden dowel (only 2-3" long) where they install the head to give the pole extra strength.
