Though not quite as popular as the G-209 series of shackles, the Crosby G-210 series is still a big-seller. It is considered a chain shackle, meaning its sides are straight as opposed to bowed. Dimensions between the G-209 and G-210 are somewhat different, but key properties like Working Load Limit and pin diameter remain the same. Crosby G-210 shackles are made from forged steel. They are Quenched and Tempered with alloy load pins, and feature a hot-dip galvanized finish. Each shackle is fatigue rated, meaning it can be subject to continuous use time and again without failure (always obey Working Load Limits). Look for the Red Pin . . . the mark of genuine Crosby quality!
