Top Brand Climbing Ropes
When it comes to climbing ropes, you want nothing but the best. Cheap imported ropes from sources unknown give one no confidence at all. That's why we proudly offer climbing ropes only from some of the best names in the business, with most being made in the U.S.A. Brands on this page include Yale Cordage, Pelican and All Gear.
Who Buys Our Ropes?
We sell rope to many different users in different industries, but one of our biggest customer bases is tree climbers. Arborists know we offer a good selection of high-quality climbing ropes that are tested and proven. Yale Cordage 1/2" XTC-12 is one such rope that is very popular. It has a nubby design that handles well and is very abrasion-resistant. A lot of folks compare it to Abror-Plex by Samson. Yale Cordage BlueMoon is a different option, with a tighter braid and a diameter of 11.7 mm (7/16"). Its smooth cover is great for mechanical devices too. Both of these ropes work well for climbing in applications other than arboriculture.
Another very popular rope for us is Pelican Static Kernmantle Rope. It features a tough, chemical resistant polyester cover over a nonrotational, parallel nylon core; making it ideal for rappelling and safety / rescue operations. It is also UL Certified to NFPA 1983-2012 edition standards and Vertical Lifeline components per ANSI Z359.1- 2007. We stock Kernmantle in 3/8", 7/16" and 1/2" diameters and in several different colors.
