The World Leader in Rigging Shackles
Crosby is known the world over as the premier manufacturer for high-quality, safe and durable rigging shackles. You can find their shackles in use pretty much anywhere--from farms and ranches, to off road users, to excavation crews and steel erectors, to bridge builders and yes, even rigging up one of NASA's space shuttles! There really is no other brand more in demand than Crosby, and for good reason.
The G-209 is the Industry Standard
Screw pin anchor shackles are the most common type of shackle sold, and Crosby's G-209 Shackles
far and away the most popular of this type. We keep plenty in stock, and so does Crosby, so we can fill your order whether it's large or small. These shackles feature a 6:1 safety factor, and they are made from forged steel, Quenched and Tempered, with red alloy load pins.

A close second to screw pin anchor shackles are bolt type anchor shackles, and no surprise, Crosby again has the most popular option in the industry. Their line of G-2130 Bolt Type Shackles
is one of the most commonly used shackles for heavy lifts, or semi-permanent installations where the shackle will not be taken on and off frequently. Because the bolt is secured with a nut and cotter key, these shackles are commonly referred to as "safety shackles". They possess all the same traits and benefits of the G-209 shackle line, with the added safety of a more secure pin/bolt. If you need this style of shackle in a super high-strength version, then check out the G-2140 Alloy Bolt Type Shackles
