Our winch lines are popular with tow truck operators, industrial winch users and off-road enthusiasts. Made from high-quality 6X19 Class EIPS IWRC Wire Rope, our winch lines are built in house to industry standards. The eyes are professionally formed using a 500 Ton hydraulic press, and include a steel thimble that helps provide protection against wear and deformation of the wire rope eye and promote a longer service life. Custom winch lines available upon request.
Why Offer Winch Lines without a Hook?
We have many customers that already have a full winch setup, to includes shackles, hooks and other gear. Some want to buy just the winch line and use one of their own shackles or hooks, and we're happy to make that possible. You can order the winch line just as you see here, without a hook, or you can simply choose a hook option from the list above.
What are the Hook Options?
No Hook: If you do not want a hook installed on your winch line, simply do not choose one above and your winch line will deliver as shown, with a thimbled eye and no hook.
Alloy Eye Hook: This is the most popular type of hook because it is most affordable. Non-swiveling, made from alloy steel, safety latch included.
Alloy Swivel Hook: The overall function is similar to a standard hook, only this hook swivels which makes for easier connections, hook positioning and less binding.
Self-Closing Swivel Hook: This hook features a heavy-duty latch that opens outward, and closes immediately once a load is applied. This hook also swivels, and generally is more durable than other hooks.
*Product weight shown does not include the hook, if selected.
