What does choker "WLL" stand for?
    1 Answer
"WLL" stands for Working Load Limit. You may also see the abbreviated as "SWL" which stands for Safe Working Load. The two terms are interchangeable. Basically this represents the maximum force you should apply to the choker. It is not the same as Breaking Strength, which is often abbreviated as "MBS" or "ABS". Breaking Strength refers to the load at which the product will likely fail. The Working Load Limit is typically arrived at by dividing the Breaking Strength by 3, 4 or 5. The exact multiplier varies by product, and this is referred to as the Safety Factor, or Design Factor. Those two terms are also interchangeable.

My builder left me a pile of logs on a 12 degree slope about 9' tall and a good 20' long. I tried hiring someone to take them away but they couldn't get any heavy equipment in the area. So I bought this choker and starting pulling logs off with my Ranger. Works like a charm and I don't feel in much danger.
Pros:Easy to use, no worries about breaking, made me feel confident and safe when pulling big logs off the pile
    Cons:Nothing so far
