Does this come with a cable already attached? If so, what is the thickness of the cable and is there a loop at the end to use for attaching to something?
1 Answer
Yes, this Duckbill anchor comes with a cable pre-installed. The cable is 1/4"D x 42"L and there is a loop/eye to use as an attachment point.

How hard of ground can I drive this anchor into? I have a lot of shale.
1 Answer
This is a difficult question to answer. The manufacturer did say that solid shale might not work altogether, while broken shale can still be difficult, but doable. They are unable to guarantee success or failure on a case by case basis.

Do these anchors have thimbles in the upper loop of the cable? Some pictures show them - others do not.
